These informative quarterly reports are available to assist hospice providers in understanding trends specific to hospice providers.
The hospice quarterly reports are shared with association representatives from the Indiana Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, Inc., the Indiana Association for Home and Hospice Care, Inc., and the associations representing the nursing home industry.
HCE Prior Authorization Report and EDS Hospice Claims Report:
The first report provides information regarding member enrollment in the IHCP hospice benefit as well as hospice authorization trends for all hospice providers.
The second report provides the denial rate for hospice claims for a particular quarter as well as the top error code denials.
Hospice Agenda:
The agenda provides the items that were discussed in the quarterly hospice work group meeting.
Hospice Work Group Meeting Minutes:
The meeting minutes provide a synopsis of the issues discussed in the meeting.
