Hospice providers are encouraged to read the following training materials to increase their knowledge of
the IHCP Hospice program.
450B Presentation - provides information on Form 450B.
Hospice Procedures Checklist - is a tool to help hospice providers evaluate their internal procedures
for efficiency. Efficient procedures help produce accurate hospice authorization paperwork and claim
billing that can be processed during the initial submission. EDS Provider Field Consultants often use
this document as part of their educational visits.
Section 4 of the IHCP Hospice Provider Manual contains essential
information regarding the IHCP Hospice Benefit.
