National Provider Identifier (NPI)

 
NPI is required for almost all providers wanting to enroll in the IHCP.   Non healthcare providers, called atypical providers are not required to report an NPI.   Waiver providers and most transportation providers are not required to have an NPI as these providers are considered atypical.
